CE Credit Requirements
All licensees are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education credits every two year license renewal period. At least 4 hours must be in ethics and 2 of those must be Texas LPC ethics, every renewal period. A licensee with the status of supervisor must complete an additional 6 hours of supervision credits every two years.
Texas LPC Approval
Texas no longer requires continuing education providers to have state or national approval. Coursework that is relevant to the practice of counseling and meets the requirements of the Texas Administrative Code can be applied to CE requirements. SimplePractice Learning courses offered for continuing education credit are designed to meet those requirements.
