Course description

What does it mean to set up supervision as equity work? In this course, new and seasoned clinical supervisors will learn steps they can take to shift supervision from “sensitive to diversity” to proactive engagement in decolonizing the supervision process. Supervisors will be encouraged to engage in critical self-examination of the self-of-the- supervisor to understand how their own identities such as race-ethnicity, gender, religion, and personal beliefs and values impact their supervision. This course integrates the latest research on supervision and training, biases and the brain, decolonizing practices and racial equity work in therapy. This course includes specific techniques to help supervisors foster more collaborative and equity minded relationships with supervisees.

2.5 Hours CE. Recorded Video Format (non-interactive)
