New California BBS licensees must complete 18 hours of continuing education in their first license renewal period. This collection includes all 18 of those hours, including the two specific content requirements: 7 hours in HIV/AIDS Awareness, and 6 hours in Law & Ethics.
Note for 2020 licensees: For your 2022 renewal, you will also need to submit proof that you have completed (at any point, not necessarily since licensure) 6 hours of training or applied experience in suicide prevention. If you haven't had such training previously, you can sign up for that course here: Suicide Prevention, Assessment, and Intervention.
