Course description

Despite sex and sexuality being everywhere and used to market everything, talking openly and honestly about it is still a taboo. Your adolescent clients probably want to talk about sex and sexuality with a trusted adult who is not their parent. Given the importance of adolescents’ sexual behavior in their overall health and in their identity development, that trusted adult should be you.

As therapists, we are in a unique position to help our clients learn more about themselves, their sexuality, and how it comes into play in their daily lives. But we all live in the same world as our clients. So we have work to do. In this course, we explore how we can have these conversations with adolescent clients with openness and care. We also help parents to do the same.

1 Hour CE. Recorded Video Format(non-interactive)
