Why you'll love this course

We know money is a major stressor for many of the clients who come to therapy. But many mental health professionals don't know how to talk directly about money with clients -- or whether we even can, considering our scope of practice. This course tackles both questions.

Course description

Money is a common source of stress for therapy clients, and a risk factor associated with a number of mental health diagnoses. Many therapists are aware of the challenges associated with limited financial resources, but feel ill prepared to discuss money in direct and specific ways with clients. In this course, participants will learn how and why money links with mental health, and the skills and interventions needed to address money directly with clients in session.

1 Hour CE. Recorded Video Format (non-interactive)
