Course description
Compassion and self-compassion now have decades of research backing their efficacy for happiness and health. Both clinicians and clients struggle with shame and an inner critic, which we can learn to transform into an inner compassionate voice guiding us more effectively through our life. In this session, participants will explore cultivating compassion in themselves as clinicians and offering self-compassion skills to their clients. This will facilitate reconnection to one’s resilience amidst life’s challenges, from addiction to trauma, depression, anxiety and more.
